Overview

This is a project that was done for the Global Archiact Jam 2016. The challenge was to build a game for the Samsung Gear VR. This was a fun and exciting challenge that had a total of 3 weeks to complete.

 

The Game

Technology supports all life in your world. Natural resources were wiped out hundreds of years ago and now the planet is sustained by artificial life created by machinery. As one of the top intergalactic pilots, you are tasked with correcting a malfunction in one of the gravity drives that controls a terraforming device on a nearby planet. As you arrive, things go horribly wrong and you inadvertently open a dimensional wormhole into an underdeveloped planet. Now the scattered pieces of the terraforming device are seeping the life from the planet on the other side. You must travel to this planet, collecting all the artifacts, and solving puzzles to send the damaged pieces back to the other side and prevent the destruction of the unassuming planet.

 

My Role

For this project, I was responsible for game design, level design, dialog script, voice-over script, audio, manage milestones and documentation.
